
So it seems that Jay-Z can find nothing better to do with his money then create a mobile store. What’s a mobile store you ask? Well, to Mr. Carter it’s a a50-foot long trailer that can be expanded up to a thousand square feet of retail space. Why create this you ask? Well, this store is being used to promote Rocawear’s new luxury line. Carter worked with David Ashen, creative & principal director of D-ASH Design.
“Jay Z wanted the shop to embody his urban aesthetic. The basic idea is to transport the customer into the Jay Z and Rocawear lifestyle,” Ashen says.
You mean he couldnt find anything else to do with his money. You mean to tell me with the amount of money he & Beyonce have, he couldn’t find anything more to do but create a store on wheels? Hello motherfucker, its a recession, try giving something back…
But anyway….for those of you, that love to buy into bullshit…The RocPopShop started its New York City tour April 3, 2009. Currently its in Brooklyn April 14th to May 3rd at Pacific Street and 5th Avenue, open from 10 am to 9 pm.
